I tend to doubt this

This little quiz tells me I write like everyone and their uncle. I write like Raymond Chandler, Vladimir Nabokov, Mark Twain, Stephen King, JK Rowling . . . the list goes on. This one made me want to save it and claim my laurels.

I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

I don't plan to eliminate my own map any time in the near future, though

I think it's all bullshit nonsense. I wonder what word ones uses to trigger Asimov?

Probably a fanfic story using Asimov's story elements. I got the result that I was writing like Tolkien.

For one of the chapters of Mael-Gul. I sincerely doubt the professor would be flattered.

And for one of my Highlander poems I got "Shakespeare". I do not see any closenesss to Shakespeare's style in that poem. I think the meme got of on the fact that there were verse, alone.

Edit: and I am not actually on, or something. *slinks off to bed*

If it's any comfort, CS Lewis's Screwtape Letters also got Dan Brown! One of my friends has suggested Narnia as a Dan Brown allegory, which is frankly now the thing I want most in the world to read. *WISHES SO HARD*

After getting several for Stephen King and JRR Tolkien, I got one for Stephanie Meyer. I briefly considered suicide, but settled for accepting it's simply complete and utter rubbish based on very little to do with style. ;P

Yeah, I'm all over the place too. Check out Pandemonium's journal. She did an experiment taking very technical jargon and inserting certain words that made it go from sounding like Stephen King to H.P. Lovecraft showing that it's pretty much the vocabulary you use. Nice to know we have varied vocab.

I took a test a number of years ago that purported to tell my sex based on my writing style and I discovered that, apparently, depending on what bit of my writing I submitted, I swing both ways. Making me a hermaphrodite, I guess.
